So I just got Hubert and my party right now is Pascal (me), Sophie, Asbel, and Hubert himself. Switched out Cheria because she was getting killed a LOT in hard mode. Good idea? Or should I just spend a little time leveling up to make her a little tankier?

I think I can safely make an educated opinion about this game now that I've reached the Cryas in the desert ruins.

I can see why a ton of people say Xillia's battle system was a giant step down from this one. Everyone is just... fun to play as. I mean, can you imagine maining Elize is Xillia? She's super clunky and not nearly as fun to use as Pascal or Cheria.

This might be the next game I make sure I play through once a year or so. I'm having a blast. Too bad I have a job that forces me to wake up early every day, or I'd go and play this until 1 in the morning again

Can we talk how awful the opening for this game is?

So much lazy animation and still frames, and needless scenes in the op that weren't important enough to justify being there (Hubert telling off his mother but us only seeing the back of her head comes to mind)

It's almost as bad as Xillia 2's opening (great song, but the animation doesn't sync up to it at ALL) I don't understand, because the animated cutscenes in Graces have been pretty decent so far, but the opening looks like drunk pizza barf

I was standing on the porch in my apartment for 10 whole minutes getting sprayed by water while just... enjoying myself. The air smells great, almost like the ocean. And this wind is the perfect lullaby to fall asleep to.

Definitely no to dying. I fought him for 15 minutes, thought it was a scripted fight like the Hubert one, and let him wipe everyone out. Still got a game over.

And I can't even get him within range of a KO by mystic arte because he heals whenever he gets lower than 6000 HP. He even did it in the middle of one of my combos

I'm much more used to bacon on its own than eggs on its own, partly because bacon is a lot easier to make since you can just microwave a few strips.
