Mika is supposed to be well suited for her (I struggle to say good, but it's what you sign up for with Eula), and Thoma's a lot better nowadays. Not particularly egregious.

Are you making condensed resin? That at least halves the time to do domains.

As a rough calculation, let's say I take 3 minutes in total on a domain, counting the normal clear time plus running to and from the platform, and with condensed resin I run 4.5 domains per day. So then per week we'd be looking at 94.5 hours per week. That's setting aside the weekly bosses which might add a few extra minutes to the total but nothing major. If we go up to 4 minutes per domain, more like 2 hours.

That's certainly more than spending it all in under 10 minutes, so certainly you might not enjoy the comparison. Though I can mostly watch things on another monitor and do domains on autopilot at this point, so it's not so painful. I can see skipping it, and you can certainly do the open world without caring about optimized artifacts or skill levels. Some events might be difficult and the later levels of Spiral Abyss would be basically impossible. But it is undeniably a time investment.

How are you spending that much time spending resin? I think you'll struggle to progress if you don't want to do domains...

Mona's popularity is probably more for waifu reasons than anything else, but she's okay. Enables some high damage showcase videos, but hydro is a very competitive element and it's hard to find room for average characters when there are top tier ones available such as Yelan and Kokomi. Usable if you don't have or don't want them and need more hydro after XQ.

Oh, about bounties, they end up removing the thing about having to track them for Inazuma and Sumeru, fortunately. No idea why they didn't do it retroactively though.

Xingqiu qualifies as a support, probably Kirara does too. Anyone who doesn't spend a lot of time on the field attacking.

Yun Jin boosts normal attacks well. She combines with characters like Yoimiya or Ayato who enhance their normals. At least I found her reasonably effective with Ayato, along with other attack speed boosters to really take him into overdrive. A pretty decent but niche support.

I think the OTK decks got nerfed out. I used to play Ayamiya which was terribly OP and played itself but Yoimiya was nerfed into oblivion along with the cost reducing food.

I think there might be some new busted decks, but I haven't been able to look at the new cards yet.

Oops, I forgot Shang-Chi when I voted. I liked Spiderman and Shang-Chi. The only other one I watched was Doctor Strange, which I disliked.

I don't even like all that many iyashikei series, but I like Flying Witch quite a bit. But I'm a huge sucker for magical realism.

I like the Yuri is my Job manga a fair bit, but the anime is in a weird place since the goofy premise and the way it's presented makes it seem like a comedy series, which it isn't. It's a fairly hefty character drama.

Not sure I'll stick with the anime as it's also a slow burn of a romance, but I don't think the first episode is super illustrative of everything else.

First you go to event details, select the recipe, and play the minigame three times. Then you click Use Seasoning to turn one of your existing cooked items into a Fragrant Dish. Lastly you go into your teapot, talk to a character you have placed, and pick the option that you have something for them to try to feed it to them.

There are a lot of kinds of witches, I'll bank on getting one of those that gets pushed into an oven by two children. Anyway most of them are old women, so they might just keel over before the 24 hours are up.

No, it's cute and there's a nice story about people making friends through gaming in there. You know, I kind of wish you wouldn't judge things based on these weird misconceptions in the first place.

A girl falls for an unsociable guy she meets in a video game. Much like that manga one from earlier, this sounds like s***ty wish-fulfillment from a writer who imagines sexy ladies throwing themselves at him because he's good at the video games.

It's shojo, so you have the wrong demographic.

I'll try watching it as the manga isn't bad or anything, but I don't think it has nearly the style or charm of Baccano or Durarara.

They better do a stylish OP with the character names zooming by though, it's traditional.

The series only had any value while it was a surprisingly popular LP on SA, once it got localized and people actually started playing it I no longer wanted anything to do with it.

I watched Birdie Wing recently and liked it so I guess that. I'll watch Gundam and Ancient Magus Bride too though. It's a really stacked season.

I don't understand the anger towards GAA1, the 3rd and 5th cases were both great. The second one has a great 3rd case but I'm not that fond of the finale (though it does have the single best section across either game).

I like Barakamon, but do not under any circumstances watch or read the high school life spinoff. It's awful.

A big part of the game is the high school social life simulator, and part of that is not being able to do everything you want to. Even if you follow the guides, it's not like you're doing everything, they're focused on maxing social links but there are usually other things you're not focusing on in return. Picking where you want to spend your time is part of the appeal.

Oh, I might actually watch Sailor Moon.

I enjoyed Tropical Rouge Precure (though I haven't quite finished it), and some good things were being said about the new season, so I watched the two episodes available last night and am really excited about it. Hirogaru Sky is looking great with the more adventurous feel and a cool and fun protagonist. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIFD5BJHwWE is a really well done transformation sequence. So I'm certainly going to stick with this one.

This reminded me of one of my favorite things about the anime, which I'm pretty sure is anime original. There actually are a bunch of connecting points between the different episodes, they just don't get spelled out. My favorite is the filmmaking episode, which is chock full of foreshadowing.

It's a shame you didn't like it as much as I did, but I'm glad you appreciated its style. Yuasa is really firing on all cylinders as director for this one. I think the only other work of his you watched is Devilman Crybaby.

To me Tatami Galaxy is my best example of a faultless anime; it tells exactly the story it wants to and with plenty of style and charm to support it. I can't really ask more than that.

It doesn't have the same stylish flair as Tatami Galaxy, but I'm also a big fan of the Eccentric Family, based on novels by the same author as Tatami Galaxy. And it still looks pretty good. Might be more to your taste.

I don't know if I agree with that claim over the course of the manga, it's just that the comedy is very front loaded.

Yoimiya/Chongyun/Ayaka, but only for a few more days until they nerf Yoimiya into oblivion. But I'm practically done with the TCG so I won't feel the hurt so badly.

I like The Witch from Mercury, but I don't disagree with several of your points. Suletta isn't really to my taste as a protagonist and I've been wanting her to grow out of it. The school duels seem to have been a lot of time wasting. I like Miorine a lot more, and I haven't felt her relationship with Suletta inconsistent, but I'd have liked it to get more focus at times.

Some of your other complaints I think I just had differing expectations for, like the byzantine political intrigue and technobabble going on. This is my first Gundam but I wasn't going to hold those against it since they seem like part of the Gundam package. So I didn't really expect the romance or Utena setup to be as important as you or some others did.

Also I think some of the side cast are a bit better than you give them credit, like Guel and Niko. I'm interested in what happens to them.

So I like it, overall. Could be better though.

The numbers I saw placed Layla as the second best shielder after Zhongli, so she has a little more value than that I think.

The most busted 4 stars are indeed launch characters; Xiangling's burst is kind of special in a way that they don't replicate with newer characters, so it's hard for another pyro character to replace her. Yanfei has her own uses, though, she's not a bad character. However, she's purely a pyro DPS who uses charge attacks, and that's a lot more replaceable. Similarly, there's no 4 star hydro character comparable to Xingqiu (though Yelan is at 5 stars), and again for Fischl you end up looking at 5 stars as comparisons. Bennett isn't replaceable even looking at 5 stars. These being some of the strongest 4 stars.

I do think Raiden Shogun is the hardest weekly boss, she hits hard and teleports a lot so the fight can feel like RNG with how mobile she's feeling. Note though that you don't need an electro; a catalyst character mixing normal and charge attacks can destroy the flower quickly enough to activate the shield.

Well, luckily for everyone, most people thought Bocchi was both more entertaining and had substantially better music than you found it to have, so I'm looking forward to the inevitable season 2.

I had hoped that one would be better based on the snappy PV but no one had much good to say about it so I left it alone. I'd like to try out the manga at least, it seems barely translated though.

I do have some alternate recommendation options if Funimation is too much trouble for solely the Tatami Galaxy. It's lame that it didn't move at all. The spinoff/sequel Time Machine Blues ended up on Hulu, but not the original.

I would first suggest you develop a National-type team. I think your best option there would be to use Tartaglia, Bennett, Xiangling, and Sucrose. You're already part of the way on those and have invested in Tartaglia so a team where he shines would be best.

Afterward when you've progressed more and need a second team, you could work towards a Yae Aggravate team: You will want Yae, Fischl, a Dendro character (Collei or the Dendro Traveler) and an Anemo character/healer (Jean or Sayu).

I don't know what kind of teams Ganyu is good in so I didn't recommend any of those. My impression is a lot of them also want characters you don't have (Kazuha, Zhongli).

Ryza 3, I suppose, especially since I'm about to finish Sophie 2 and will be fully caught up. Trails to Reverie I hope I will enjoy; it's been a while since CS4 and that game soured me on the series a bit so I hope my enjoyment of it will come back some.

I know I watched Joshiraku after Sayonara Zetsubou-Sensei, had no idea what rakugo was, and could not remotely understand much of what was going on. I eventually rewatched it after Rakugo Shinjuu and some other rakugo-related stories and could understand very slightly more. What a card that Kumeta is.

Glad you enjoyed Vinland Saga. I'm extremely excited about season 2, a lot of what I love about the manga will be there.
