In my case I'm on a music anime binge in general and Bang Dream was on the list. Got through Love Live SIP and Sunshine but needed a break before Nijigasaki. There are a few other shows on the radar afterward as well.

I need to listen to some of these Bang Dreams songs more, but I do know Pastel Palettes did Luminous Once More which is amazing. I'd heard that one prior to watching any Bang Dream. MyGo is my favorite band though since I immediately downloaded the first album after finishing the anime.

Alisa's English VA has this weird petulant tone that never goes away even when she's supposedly a competent businesswoman, so I agree there are some problems there.

Alfin would be way better if she didn't keep insisting that Elise was the only one for Rean, to the point that she starts kicking up a fuss about it even if you romance her in CS4.

I'll give you that one for free, they're pretty bad. I really disliked their songs and their episode in S2 was ostensibly about making people smile but mostly seemed to be about how it's easy to look impressive when you're loaded. I'll give you it was funny in its absurdity though.

I like Machias alright, in the middle of the Class 7 boys pretty much. I only object because I feel like you might have put Gaius higher, a character who spent two games being boring and had a big twist teased for CS3 only to somehow come out of it even more boring.

I found Aurelia entertaining enough to mostly make up for the power level nonsense with her. Agreed Victor is boring, and he should have gone down with the ship if it meant saving us the stupid brainwashing mask.

S1 seemed perfectly fine for me but S2 is quite a bit jankier.

I think it is less pronounced once she gets used to the other band members.

That I don't get. It's not like Ave Mujica is its own thing in isolation. It might not be MyGo season 2 but it's at least season 1.5.

One thing that's become obvious to me is a certain amateurness makes me like these band shows more. It feels more raw.

Dieter was fun in the Crossbell games, and him leaving the picture was basically the part where Azure became awful, so I also give him points for propping up the game. Wish he had a purpose in Reverie though.

I'm watching the original series and they are rather different in tone. Towards the end of S2. I don't like any of the bands here as much as MyGo, but Afterglow's pretty cool.

It is self contained, I'm going back to watch the previous seasons but watched MyGo blind. Specifically the first three seasonal anime revolve mostly around one band. Poppin' Party, and a few others feature and get more attention in OVAs and movies. Whereas MyGo is about an entirely new band and all of the others are alluded to but don't feature at all.

You haven't watched MyGo? Then yes do that too. The resemblance between the two is very obvious. Also it's great.

My phone doesn't seem to understand that its without an apostrophe is a legal word, so there's some work that needs to be done yet.

I didn't have too much interest in the setting or characters until Billy got involved and the series put some more attention on the Union's character dynamics. The world building showed promise but the characters didn't grab me until after that point, and that's the critical part.

Just the manga, I haven't gotten around to the adaptation yet. But I know what it covers and at least plotwise it doesn't get to the stuff I like until the second cour.

So I watched episode 1 of Undead Unluck and wow this show seems like its gonna be great.

If you like it that early I can only imagine you'll love it by the end. I genuinely did not like the beginning of UU but it improves by leaps and bounds.

There are so many manga available to read I get surprised when I run across something I'm interested in that doesn't have a translation. I recently started watching the Locodol anime and saw that it was based on a long running 4koma, but no one has ever translated it.

I love Eupho, rewatching it for season 3 just reminded me of that. Certainly the show I'm most excited about this season as well, though it has stiff competition in terms of music shows.

Good contest, and glad you enjoyed my nominations. Certainly one of the most iconic songs from that series.

I struggle to think of an anime that made me laugh harder than during the finale of Eccentric Family's first season. A comedy of errors of epic proportions.

Whoa, that one's pretty cool. I think I've heard that very specific musical mentioned before but not listened to it properly.

Hope it gets picked up, it's been a while since I've had to rely on fansubs for an airing show. I was already planning on watching it so it's good to know I won't be wasting my time.

Voted Yuru Camp over Eupho but this may change after I watch the Eupho movies. Will see about doing it this weekend.

I certainly knew it wasn't a particularly villainous song when nominating it so that all seems fair. Any of the really nasty characters don't get songs in that series.

Though now I'm imagining ridiculous mad scientist villain John Wayne Vercingetorix, the self-proclaimed Last Action Hero, getting one. Missed opportunity!

I didn't love this episode, but last week's on Supreme Court ethics and Clarence Thomas was excellent.

I'd be up for it, it was a fun game with a great OST. Was thinking about it lately.
