I didn't like 2-2 much; I'm pretty sure it was my least favorite case from this game or indeed GAA in general. There were a few leaps of logic I couldn't get on board for. In particular, the lengthy diversion with the gas on day 1, and bringing in Olive on day 2, I really just felt those two weren't handled too well. I also found Shamspeare impossibly obnoxious, even considering he was effectively the true culprit for that case and those are more likely to be annoying.

EDIT: Once Green did show up, the rest was quite good. But the journey there was not my favorite.

Fortunately the next case is excellent to make up for it.

I've been doing random singles on Raiden's banner for a bit, gambling on C3, but I suppose I'll keep rolling on Kokomi once she comes out and we got our login rolls. I'll have to contend with the 50/50 anyway, and I'm at least somewhat interested.

Honestly, not really, but you can use her. She's a much better healer than Barbara. It's just that healing isn't that well regarded by itself.

5; 3 on Hu Tao and 2 on Zhongli, since I don't need his basic attack. The next 2 are for Raiden once I get more boss drops; I'll be able to max her burst next week.

I did a big fishing run yesterday since I hadn't done any yet, trying to catch all the fish at all fishing locations. It took quite a while though. And I still missed one that's only in one specific point in Liyue. Not my favorite mechanic, but I guess there's no rush either. I'm hoping the upcoming fishing event might help somewhat for the grind? But I don't really know what to expect there.

Sucrose is actually the only launch 4 star I'm missing, so I'm glad she showed up here. Xiangling is a big miss, though.

To be honest, regarding the hangouts, I didn't really love any of them that much, they were all only okay. But I still like that they exist. Otherwise a lot of characters fall by the wayside. Whether I care about the characters as a whole or not is easily the biggest factor in whether I'm enjoying a gacha game. So I hope they start adding more hangouts once we're past the Inazuma story. I got a little concerned when 1.6 didn't have any, and I don't think they're that popular in general, but I'd still be disappointed if they stop doing them.

I rolled the weapon banner once for Staff of Homa because it's too big a game changer for Hu Tao and the alternatives weren't very exciting. I don't expect to do so again. Fortunately I expect to have a strong option for Raiden already available so I don't need to worry about rolling a weapon for her; otherwise it would be tempting.

Another proof of diversity of opinions! I'm a fan of 'steal yo card' effects. I'm not a huge fan of gonti because it's an unstoppable ETB effect. Stuff like robber of the rich, hostage taker, and thief of sanity all give your opponent some ability to play around it. Gonti is 'have counterspells or get lucky'

Yeah but Gonti just draws a card for you. Thief of Sanity dominates games in a way that Gonti simply can't. I don't understand why this is a sticking point for you. Do you just hate ETBs?

EDIT: Or to put it another way, if Gonti was the same stats and costs, but it took the card from your own library instead, do you have the same complaint? Because those cards aren't substantively different, I don't think.

The problem with Lava Axe isn't really the rate, it's that it doesn't do anything except direct damage. The 5 mana for 5 damage ratio is still reasonable in Limited, but it's often got the ability to hit creatures too, or does something else. Arrow Storm is a good example.

Oh, a streak of cards I'm not a fan of. Never really came to like kicker, and the swords and Wurmcoil feel like victims of progress, just a bit clunky.

I think I'm missing two quest chains from each, but I went with Mondstadt.

I should be needing Reliable Helper and Tales of Winter from Mondstadt and Cliffhanger and Signs of Love from Liyue. Might as well stick with one though. It's ultimately pretty irrelevant, the difference is incredibly minor.

Robotics;Notes beated. Huh, I really was super close to the end. Though part of that is because that felt like a pretty abrupt ending. I uh... kind of wish there was like a short epilogue or something more beyond where it ended. I feel like there were a number of neat ideas right there for the taking across the whole story and a few of them I was sure the story was leading up to but then it was like "nah lol."

Eh, I suppose it was an okay VN but that's a disappointment compared to the bars set by S;G, S;G0, and C;C.

I finished it recently and then read the sequel, DaSH. But it was pretty mediocre.

I think the premise of 'struggling robot club in their last year completes a life sized robot thanks to a string of miraculous coincidences and then accidentally saves the world' is really solid, but there was some extraneous stuff I didn't care much about. Mostly the Committee of 300. It's a shame because it's the connecting factor in these games, and it's always by far the worst element. Steins;Gate has the least amount of Committee nonsense and ends up the best. That's not a coincidence.

I'm interested, partially because I've played a high amount of Yugioh in my life and struggle to come up with very many cards I'm attached to. I'm more likely to talk about archetypes or individually powerful cards. So I wonder what kind of cards you'll pick.

If I were to name the one that comes to mind the quickest as a favorite of mine, probably Stardust Dragon? Straightforward answer, I know.
