I'm really not a fan of Westerns (the only one I've seen that has already dropped is Magnificent Seven, although I have some prior knowledge on a few) so I'm glad I avoided doing any ratings or watchthroughs, but it's been interesting to see the rankings here. If True Grit 2010 made the top ten that doesn't bode well for how much I'd have liked the ones below it.

Probably Va11HallA. I went in with almost no expectations and basically picked a game from my steam share at random. Turns out it's one of the most unique and chill games I've ever played.

I think replacing anything would void the warranty, which is a risk you have to be aware of. I think an SSD is mandatory for pretty much anything now, so that's something you'd need to do. The graphics card is pretty impressive, so if that's your main priority then knock yourself out, but I think the processor is a bit lackluster for that price and with no SSD, you could probably do better for the price. I'd recommend taking a look at PC Specialist stuff and custom ordering one - it might be a bit pricier overall if you want a graphics card that good, but you can probably get an upgrade on every other part. Hell, you could probably get a laptop with better everything and the same graphics card, for about the same price as this PC plus an equally good monitor/peripherals.

Pyra/Mythra are the only ones I bought because I thought I'd like their playstyle, and they're my main now. All their moves feel so satisfying.

It's not a particularly strong Germany side right now, although I take your point. Regardless, Sweden, Colombia, Croatia and Germany, Ukraine, Denmark are two pretty easy runs to two finals compared to what you'd typically expect.

I think England got very lucky with their draws in recent tournaments, but I think they'll likely keep improving. I like seeing them do well and there's a really likable bunch of players there right now. Hope the young lads don't get any stick for missing. Italy were probably the best team throughout, though, and I'm really glad to see them win it.

Really good section today. Abney performing like a machine as usual, with Super Metroid followed by a ridiculous SM64 run. Always love the classic Nintendo blocks. Here's looking forward to SMB3 a bit later.

I've been watching off-and-on, but it's tough to get as invested without a live audience - these events benefit so much from them.

Definitely, but some of the runs are still crazy to watch, and I think the Dancerush Stardom one was the best of the bunch so far, given the relay with the couch at the end.

Morata shoulda been the last player picked on pens. First thing on his mind when he walks up is gonna be the abuse he gets if he misses. Props to Italy, though. Have been saying throughout they're the best team in the tournament.

Chiaki is absolutely waifu bait. Not necessarily a huge fan of her as a character, but she's very nice and her case is probably the most "what the FUcK writer?" moment I've had in any form of media, coming from a person who pretty much exclusively consumes mystery stuff.

I like the side stories. They feel a little more mature than the original, although I think the latter is just plain better. There's also bunch of other really interesting new secrets and easter eggs which I've spent a good few hours collating with some others. It looks like everything should be findable somehow by digging through and translating/applying things hidden throughout the game and copious amounts of googling, which I cannot recommend enough if you enjoy that sort of thing (and can avoid the people who have already worked things out).

I also got rickrolled once. I wish I were joking.

I haven't played it for a couple of months, since I've been really busy and picked it up in the middle of a bunch of assignments. It's one of the most mechanically satisfying games I've played, with an amazing gameplay loop. I want to at least get all of the achievements and Skelly statues.

I'll be shocked if Wales get back into this game. The keeper was stalling after 10 minutes.

We were good first ten minutes and then just completely lost it. Same as pretty much every other game so far. Need Ramsey to drop deeper and get James on the ball cause it's not working.

Plz not Eupho, I try to send it saves when I can but I get stretched too quickly so it always does badly which is a shame.

If that's the case then I'll not nom it until there's a year where every other show I love has already done well. Maybe I'll finally finish Monogatari, cause I know I'd probably like it enough to main it.

Besides next year if the anime is good, I want to give Komi the level of support I gave to Quintessential Quintuplets/Rascal.

I don't have high hopes for the adaptation tbh, although I also had high hopes for the manga when it started, before it petered out.

It got 7th from basically just Sheep, its great, and its WSJ. Has the champion recipe built for it.

To be fair, a bunch of people threw it individual saves for ages which kept it alive. I don't see it winning and I'm not sure I'll main it next year. I mostly try to rep shows that are a bit underappreciated and which haven't done incredibly well before. And Hyouka any year in which Leon is around because I don't have to rely only on Voltch pity saving it if I miss an hour or so. I'll probably see if Lefty wants Tatami Galaxy in again or if I fancy going for a K-On/Hibike/Eva push

Kinda meh final. Kaguya/MHA would have been a dodgy one too mind, with both yet to hit their peaks in anime form. Kaguya had better win some day, cause it's a phenomenal series and would be the best winner of all imo

Zombieland Saga finale was... interesting. The CG is so vastly improved from the first season. Some decent new songs and the "Avengers, Assemble" moment culminating in the Drive-In-Tori mascot arriving was peak cinema.

Was that an alien invasion beginning at the end or something? I feel like that's the logical next step...
