I can't say I understand how the USPS works but I've been told at least with Fedex or UPS, depending on the type of shipping some packages are sent to their main hub first in.....Dallas, TX? before being sent to its actual destination so in some packages will go in circles before arriving. I can only guess it could be the same with USPS and/or it simply got mixed up with packages going to Greenville, NC.

Granted 15 days, even for ground shipping, is a long time so I can only assume it got mixed up with the wrong bundle.

That's not losing 4 years, that's aging 4 years. Losing 4 years would mean it'd happen at the end of your life. So if you were going to live until 90, you'd only live until 86 instead.

Unfortunately the topic title and poll title are different. Topic title states "lose four years" whereas the poll states" instantly age four years". I assume the TC meant the latter.

That's what I was thinking. There are some people in such terrible shape, that getting into great shape right now would actually extend their life by more than four years, so it's win/win.

Fair points but do you believe folks who are currently unhealthy or with bad physique are gonna have the discipline and life habits to maintain a healthy life and good physique?

Genetics is a factor for some folks but for some, they just lack the willpower to improve themselves. Suddenly getting a good physique might improve the self-confidence of some to maintain it but some might also far back into the bad habits that got them where they are now in the first place.

Thinking bout it a bit, kinda peeved me that certain paragon and renegade decisions cannot be chosen at lower levels unless you spend the talent points on them. So you're stuck either having to replay if you don't want to waste the talent points or accept being unable to choose the paragon or renegade decisions on your first playthrough.

On another note, what is the "official" background story of Shepard? For whatever reason I thought it was Earthborn and Sole Survivor but of course that does give me a sliver of renegade which is almost an eyesore.

I'm sure he doesn't qualify as an incel but at the engineering office I work at, I have a male coworker who sometimes gets a little too friendly with the female coworkers but fortunately never crosses the inappropriate line. One time was a bit awkward though. We were dealing with a plan checker who refused to accept our response on a question of hers. After a phone conversation with the plan checker said coworker looked up her on LinkedIn. Seems harmless but at the same time I feel there's no work related reason to looked her up. He did commented on her going to Stanford and he felt that explained her shaky attitude over the phone.

My friend and I co-oped through Divinity: Original Sin and D:OS 2 and I thought the amount of text in both games was just about right. I watched some videos about the game and like the graphics and the style of RPG sounds interesting. I'll probably pick this up along with Xenoblade Chronicles 2 at some point once a third game comes out for the Switch that justifies picking it up for.

As for it being $40 versus $60. Though it doesn't make sense, I do wonder if it being a "console" game versus a "handheld" game is why it has the typical console game price instead of handheld price. I spent a few hundreds of hours on Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on the 3DS and over a hundred hours combined on the Bravely Default and Bravely Second so I personally do not think potential playtime hours is truly a factor. Disgaea on the DS was about $40 on release and I think came with additional content compared to the PS2 version which for the life of me cannot recall the price of at release.

I cant understand how anyone wouldnt, even if you dont agree. But I will also say this topic either sounds like it was bait or written poorly. The reasons I say this is because you never specified actually ramen or the cheaper stuff you can get here. Also, if egg is as common as most people are making it sound, I probably wouldve asked who didnt. There were probably a few other reasons. And I could be wrong. But thats what it seems like. Like this topic was used to make people argue about original ramen and the cheap stuff we have here...

I kinda grasp what Golden Road is trying to say here as well. I've read an article before about fine dining Chinese food and the author mentioned it being near impossible to have such a restaurant in a neighborhood flooded with other Chinese restaurants. It didn't matter if said restaurant used the best ingredients and whatnot, folks are going to scoff at paying more than $10-15 for a plate of fried rice.

I briefly talked about the article with other Chinese friends and it was brought up that it really depends on who the cliente are naturally. Opening up said restaurant in Beverly Hills for example would probably succeed more so than a Chinese community.

While watching Netflix Chef series one of the episode was of Enrique Olvera and his restaurant Pujol in Mexico City that offered fine dining Mexican food. Before starting up his restaurant, he mentioned how when most people think of fine dining they think of French or Italian whereas with Mexican most think of cheap food. So it was a struggle for him to offer Mexican food in a fine dining environment.

From this perspective, I can kinda see how Golden Road cannot/refuse to accept ramen as anything but a cheap quick-n-easy meal. I don't doubt there are high end fried rice dishes out there but having been raised eating it throughout my childhood life and even now as an adult, paying the price for the high end version of it would be tough for me to swallow.

Going to classes several hours before or after work would mean no time for sleep. But really, what are they going "teach" that takes more than a couple of hours in a single session? Anything beyond that would be just be bulls*** filler to drag it out.

Perhaps after the "lesson" is taught, the remaining hours/days is just there to waste our time instead of burning our wallet. A "timeout" for adults of sort. Bullshit filler or not, some folks might prefer that over paying hundreds for a fine. I'd say sometimes there isn't a message to get across. Sometimes folks might just need to be punished to discourage from doing it again.

As odd as it may sound, if some adults are going to act like children then they'll be punished like children. At the very least this should be an option for those who can't afford paying a fine in the hundreds. As much as I would hate these "time out" sessions, I've had some fines where I would prefer dealing with these "time out" sessions to either eliminate or reduce the fine.

The whole point of ramen is being cheap and easy. If you're going to make it more complicated and more expensive, why are you eating ramen to begin with? Why not just make a real meal?

Ramen cost and quality varies quite a bit. I don't want to assume so what is the best/most expensive ramen have you had? My coworker doesn't like ramen but his only experience with ramen is the cheap instant $1 type and not the ones freshly made at an actual ramen restaurant. When it comes to the restaurants though, I believe most make the broth from scratch but the noodles might vary from freshly made noodles to the instant type.

Kinda torn between the first and second but I do feel the third is the weakest among the three.

I actually kinda of like the Bethesda Fallout games, and even I have no interest in this game.

Being a fan of Fallout 2 I had mixed feelings about Fallout 3 when they changed up from an iso-view & turn-based RPG game to a first/third-person turn-based/live action RPG game. In the end I thought Fallout 3 and New Vegas did a good job of giving us that immersive feeling of being in a wasteland while still carrying some of the black humor that Fallout and Fallout 2 were known for. Still, I would love a modern day game of FO2 as the original interface feels clunky.

I typically had very short hair throughout elementary, middle, and high school. If any of my classmates had em, it probably didn't transfer over.

I would't consider them traitors. Despite whatever relationship these co-stars had/have with each other in and outside of work, at the end of the day this is their job and I can understand them putting their livelihood ahead of a co-star especially if said co-star put their livelihood at risk.

It's one thing to purposely backstab a fellow co-star if that person did no wrong. It's another thing to distance themselves from said co-star if that person started a fire that potentially coulda burned everything down.
